Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit mindtude.com. It covers the website only.

This is not our Notice of Privacy Practices. Your clinical records — anything you discuss in a session, your diagnosis, your treatment notes — are protected health information under HIPAA and governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive when you begin care. Nothing on this page changes those protections.

What we collect through this website

Very little. This site has one session request form, no accounts, and no newsletter sign-up. We measure how the site is used, described below. We do not use advertising pixels, we do not run remarketing or build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share information with data brokers.

The session request form

The form on this site asks for your name, email, phone number, which insurance you have, whether telehealth works for you, and an optional note. This website has no database and does not save what you wrote. The message is passed to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that emails it to our practice inbox and briefly retains a copy so it can be delivered; it is not used for marketing and is not sold or shared. We use what you send only to reply and, if you become a client, to begin care.

Information you choose to send us

If you email contactus@mindtude.com or call the number listed on the site, we receive whatever you include in that message — typically your name, contact details, and the reason you are getting in touch, used the same way.

Please do not send sensitive health details by email or through the form. Ordinary email is not encrypted end to end and is not a secure way to share medical information. A short note asking to be contacted is enough; we will take the rest through a secure channel.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — which are used to operate and secure the site and are retained for a limited period. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you.

How we measure the site

We use Google Analytics to understand how this site is used — which pages are read, which links and buttons are clicked, how far down a page people get, and where they leave. It tells us that a page is or is not working; it does not tell us who you are. We have turned off Google Signals and ad personalisation, so this data is not used to build an advertising profile of you or to follow you around the internet.

Nothing you type into the session request form is sent to Google Analytics. We record that a step was completed and which insurance you selected from the list, never your name, email, phone number or anything you wrote in the note.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used — where people click, how far they scroll, and where they get stuck — and replays those sessions to us so we can fix what is not working. The session request form is masked: a replay shows that someone paused or gave up on a field, never what they typed into it. Clarity does not receive your name, email, phone number, insurance details or note.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without collecting personal information. If you would rather not be counted at all, any browser-level tracking blocker or Do Not Track setting will stop Google Analytics, and the site works exactly the same without it.

Browser storage

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity each set cookies on your device to recognise a returning browser across a visit. Beyond that the site stores two small values in your browser's local storage: whether you chose light or dark mode, and whether you have dismissed the notice about analytics. Those two stay on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Third parties

Hosting. The site is served by a hosting provider that processes requests and keeps the server logs described above.
Web3Forms. Session requests sent through the form on this site are delivered to us by Web3Forms, which receives what you typed in order to email it to our practice inbox.
Google Analytics. Receives your IP address, the pages you view on this site, and the clicks and scrolling described above, in order to produce the statistics we use to improve the site.
Microsoft Clarity. Receives the page interactions described above in order to produce heatmaps and session replays, with the session request form masked.
Vercel. Hosts the site and provides the cookieless visit counter described above.
Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google receives your IP address as part of it.
Links out. Pages on this site link to Healthgrades and LinkedIn. Once you follow a link, that company's privacy policy applies, not ours.

Children

This website is directed at adults and is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Where we provide care to a minor, that is handled through our clinical intake process with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contactus@mindtude.com. Requests about clinical records are handled under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which may set different timeframes and limitations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the site.
